Love ’em or Leave ’em // Turtlenecks

I’ve been on the fence about turtlenecks for a while now – there is something suffocating about putting one on that makes me feel like I should be driving a carpool full of kids. Regardless, the impeccable styling by these bloggers and celebrities definitely has me thinking twice about reaching for a turtleneck this fall. How do you feel about turtlenecks? Love ’em or leave ’em?

Interior Barn Doors

Currently wishing I had the ability to add sliding barn doors to the interior of my house.  From the living room to the bathroom to the pantry to the laundry room to the dining room, I’m absolutely craving this mix of rustic and modern somewhere in my future home.  Would you ever replace regular doors with sliding barn doors somewhere in your house?  If so, which room would you most want them in?  Would you leave them rustic brown, a neutral white, or paint them a pop of color?

Pinterest: Bridal Shower Inspiration

As I mentioned (here), I have the extreme privilege and honor of being the matron maid of honor at my best friend Cece’s wedding this May.  Although it is still four months away, the preparations for the wedding festivities including the bridal shower and bachelorette party have begun.  Here are a few images I found from Pinterest that will serve as inspiration for the upcoming shower (minus all the pink).  I hope my replication will turn out with at least half the cuteness!  I’m always looking for suggestions and additional inspiration, so let me know your favorite (or least favorite) bridal shower games, themes, and ideas.
