Wearing plaid flashes back fond memories of football games, sitting around campfires, and cozying up under comfy blankets in the cool breezes of fall. It also brings back memories of my maternal grandma’s style which consisted of classic plaid separates in pants, shirts, socks, and blazers. However much I adore plaid in fashion, the thought of this print as part of my house decor makes me nervous since it can easily go old school or lumberjack real quick but when done in a smaller scale, accented against simple colors, modernized, or used to add warmth it really makes the space feel more welcoming and cozy.
